About Mochi

Hello ~! I'm Mochi !I am the owner of the Deja Vu server. I really wanted a place where adult writers could come together and enjoy their favorite animes and video games. I could never find the right server that implemented those ideas and instead creating one that embodied those principles. I love world building and over-all aesthetics — I'm always trying to do my best to keep the server pleasing to the eye and an over-all fun place to write in. I think kindness and communication goes a long way and I do my best to make my server as welcoming as possible!Just a little about me — I've been role-playing for 18 years; I mainly began back in those 'myspace' and 'aol' days. This is something I just enjoy doing when I can, but I make it a priority to try and be available and actively engage in the community. I cherish the members I have in my server, the friendships I've built and the admin team that makes this possible. I do tend to get busy so somtimes I may be a tad slower. I'm a license insurance agent in the real world where I work M-F 9am - 6pm PST. I do have weekends off, but they can get crazy and packed sometimes. Aside from that, I'm working on a book! I've been working on better work-life balance so I can make time to actually finish it.I also have two cats and three dogs in which I adore, so you'll see me post them here and there. I've also became more interested in cooking so you may see me post things that I make here and there. You can talk to me about anything — even cosplay ! I use to cosplay a lot before COVID, but it's been hard to do it since so much has changed, but I hope to get back into it sometime soon. I do look forward to getting to know everyone and hope you enjoy your time in this sever !

I'm free late evenings and weekends, but my weekends can vary. I do try to keep with pacing so our stories don't lose traction. I'll always meet the 30 day timeframe, but I try to make sure I reply every few days to about two weeks. Again, sometimes I reply right away while other times it may take me a week or two. I try to at least get 2-3 replies out a day so I don't fall behind, but sometimes after work I'm just too tired to move, haha.» Details/Boundaries/Etc:
I'm pretty open when it comes to writing & what I'm okay with ~ I've always been pretty go with the flow; however, the one thing I would mention is I hate when people speak or think for my character. I just ask if you're going to for story purposes you ask me first. Any NSFW related boundaries I prefer to talk about privately if it ever gets to that point.» Trigger Warnings:

Important Details:
When it comes to shipping, I’m never against it! I just can’t ship if the vibe isn’t there. I think it’s important that we can vibe as people and with our characters having chemistry. I’m open to discussion before hand and for letting things just happen as well; if you do want to see where our characters can go then please talk to me ~! I don’t bite. I think it’s important that we do have some level of discussion before moving forward. I also love relationship building, making aesthetics and playlists for our characters.Characters I play:

Just because it’s my favorite, don’t feel pressured. And just because it’s not listed here doesn’t mean I’m not into crossover ships or other pairings. I actually love to see crossovers happen! Most of these are just canon pairings I like. I really just play off chemistry _{! I prefer MXF ships, but I’m not opposed to discussing MXM and sometimes FXF. I just heavily prefer MXF, but if the chemistry is there then I’m always willing to see where things can go.}ERP Preference:
I’m not against writing ERP. I actually do prefer to write it out if our characters go into that territory, but I am completely okay with not writing out if my partner doesn’t want to as I would never force it on anyone! I always feel like it's a beautiful moment where two characters finally get to feel vulnerable with another, but I know not everyone sees it that way. I also need to feel comfortable with you as a writer and that this is something that feels right for our muses. (I don't do baseless smut, this is only reserved for my character's love interest). Overall, I go with the flow and don’t mind if my partner doesn't want to! If our characters do go in that direction though I just prefer to have a conversation to make sure we’re on the same page.
